Xiaomi did a good job with the Pocophone F1, to be honest. How many phones running on Snapdragon 845 SoC is sold for $300? Only the Pocophone F1, and this same chipset powers top-end smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6t.
Xiaomi Global Vice President, Kumar Jain made a celebratory tweet on the success of the sub-brand, he said “Boom! We’ve got 700,000 #POCOF1 users across the globe.” Meaning 700,000 units of the smartphone have been sold in the last 3 months.

POCO means little in Spanish. Glad to see the POCO community has become so big globally in a matter of months. 🙏

In India, the device is one of the fastest selling because it packs specifications you would only normally see on flagship devices, and particularly because of its very affordable price. An update was recently released for the Pocophone F1 to support super slo-mo videos at 960fps, 240fps and 120fps.
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. It has a base variant of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage while the top-end has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
